Baitercell have been going since 1994, which is quite a long time really...
Having helped pioneer the NZ breaks scene, as well as releasing Drum and Bass and various other styles as the fancy takes has resulted in mainstage gigs at many festivals, as well as the most played track on NZ student radio [Lay it Down], followed by the second most played track the following year [What's Down Low].
The Wall of Bass technique (with Timmy Schumacher) reached #37 on the NZ album charts, and was a finalist for Best Electronic Album at the NZ music awards that year.
Having taken a bit of a break after that and helping other people with their music for a while, because he is a helpful type [and collecting a bunch of chart credits, plus a Silver Scrolls finalist nomination for work with Maisey Rika and Rei] Baitercell is now releasing a bunch of music again with Huia, Just2Māori and Rei, because why not,,, seemed like a good idea at the time and it got a bit carried away.
