BAKLAN is an alternative rock band from Kyiv (Ukraine), founded in 2018 by Alexey Baklan and his sister Olga Chuba. Both are participants of vocal TV shows, and also are authors of the text and music.
Alexey is a “charisma” of the band, participant of the Ukrainian show “X-Factor 7” and “The Voice 8”, performances of which scored more than 20 million views on YouTube. Video of his blind auditions with Rammstein’s song “Mein Herz Brennt”, thanks to which he gained wide recognition, overcame the mark of 11 million views, not counting multiple reuploads.
Olga (participant of the “Battle of the Choirs” show) is a professional in her field. Vocal teacher in the past - what’s noticeable in her perfect possession of voice.
