Coming from the north of France, Balance of Terror's debut album can be summarized as a combination of brutal death metal and fast grindcore. These 8 tracks are made up of technical brutal, heavily slow, atmospheric and also efficient grindcore-influenced riffs, mixed with extreme blastbeating drums and a great variety of vocals, from powerful classical death metal style including gore and pigsqueals parts to insane screams. The lyrics completely take part in that unleashing of rage as they deal with misanthropy, human cruelty, selfishness and the failure of evolution that gave birth to the album's title "World laboratory".
