Hardcore band Balboa hails from Philadelphia (what did you expect?), from where they've been actively combating the system in one formation or another since the year 2000. Their demo (2001) paved the way to a self-titled debut album (2003) and then to the Manifeste Cannibale EP (2005), by which time Balboa comprised vocalist Peter Bloom, guitarists Dave Pacifico and Mike Savretsky, bassist Armando Morales and drummer Drew Juergens. ~ Eduardo Rivadavia, Rovi
