With over a decade of experience working together across multiple projects, the frenetic bass and drums tag team known as BANGLADEAFY have set out to revisit what originally brought them together. Initially Jon had reached out to Atif about playing drums in a live, aggressive synth band. The synths were quickly replaced with the energized bass playing we know them for, but the idea was not forgotten. On Ribboncutter, their first official full length release, we are treated to a healthy blend of BANGLADEAFY’s tried and true ultra-hyper bass and drum performance complemented by wildly abrasive synths to usher in the duo’s original intent with a curiously more aggressive bite.
