Bańka (Małgorzata Bańka) - composer, pianist, singer, actress and producer of musical performances. She lived for many years in Paris and then in Costa Rica. She currently resides in Warsaw. She has collaborated with, among others: Jean Fauque, Francois Bernheim, Pierre Grillet, Gonzales, Marie-Amelie Seigner, Vincent Carpentier, Arnaud Garoux, Patrick Faure, also with: el Capi, Editus, as well as with Jacek Cygan and Zbigniew Górny. She has given concerts at major venues of Paris and Warsaw. Finalist of the Le tremplin du Réservoir competition in Paris. Winner of the Grand Prix in the Polish Song Contest in Paris and of the Golden Five of the Bards Contest in Warsaw. She starred in Maciej Zień's show, the film "The Fifth Element - Woman”, the Warsaw Fashion Street. Together with Leszek Możdżer she co-created the song "Toutes les femmes de Matthieu" for the film "All the Women of Matthieu". She created and produced musical performances such as: "I Just Love. Poświatowska" , "Don't be afraid of the night. a story about the Warsaw Uprising", for which she wrote the musical setting, including music to the poems of Krzysztof Kamil Baczynski. The play premiered at the opening of the Support Home for Warsaw Insurgents in Warsaw. She also created the musical monodrama "Examination from the Holocaust. The Ghetto Through the Eyes of Women," which premiered at the Jaracz Theater in Lodz during the Days of Remembrance dedicated to the Victims of the Holocaust.
