BAPHOMETAL is a Japanese Death Metal / Black Metal band, originally formed in 2024 under the name Necrophase. After a major lineup change in 2025, the band was reborn with a new identity and vision, emerging as BAPHOMETAL. Now active again in 2026, the group stands as a powerful five-piece unit. Their sound blends the relentless speed of death metal with the dark, ritualistic atmosphere of black metal.
Led by Haruki Okabe and operating through their independent label Velora Records, BAPHOMETAL moves without compromise, driven by a clear artistic and musical vision.
