Dedicated Venezuelan singer with over 6 years of profound commitment to the historical exploration of Jazz from its inception, featuring renowned artists like Frank Sinatra, Doris Day, Barbra Streisand, Nat King Cole, and others. Through extensive musical research, shee has delved into the distinct vocal techniques pioneered by these music legends, integrating elements of traditional jazz, traditional pop, contemporary sounds, and Bebop to craft her unique musical style.
Influenced initially by her mother, the esteemed producer Nelly Carvajal, and inspired by her inherited musical legacy from her grandfather, Maestro Antonio Lauro, Barbara has meticulously curated a timeless repertoire of lesser-known Jazz standards. Teaming up with Germán Domador on drums, Eduardo Chang on piano, and Kenny Guzmán on bass, she has curated her first studio album titled BARBARA LAURO ONE, released on all major music platforms on April 30.
