Pop deconstructionists Bare Minimum were formed in the Bay Area in 1991 by singer/guitarist Brian Speckman and guitarist Mark Pinkos. Upon moving to Seattle a short time later, they were joined by bassist Anthony Champa and drummer Joe Plummer; their eponymously titled debut LP appeared on the Rx Remedy in 1995, followed later that same year by a single on Sub Pop. After the 1996 EP Night We Streak, Bare Minimum returned in 1998 with Can't Cure the Nailbiters. ~ Jason Ankeny, Rovi
