Bare Wire Son is the vehicle of Olin Janusz (b. 1994, London, UK).
Operating primarily as a highly reclusive solo musician with a small circle of international collaborators, Janusz orchestrates a devastating drama of sound, built up with walls of cello, piano, guitars, synths, drums and perhaps most importantly, organs.
With a focus on crawling, languid threnodies and cascading, mournful soundscapes that amalgamate influences from the likes of John Dowland, Käthe Kollwitz and Michael Gira, Bare Wire Son moves with a clear and unflinching intent to dwell in the darkness with the sorrows in the bellows.
