I am Abbas Sadeghi, the founder of Basaamad music Band, or rather Basaamad Project.
“BASAAMAD” (Frequency) in Persian is the measurement of the number of times a periodic event occurs in a unit of time.
The idea of the Basaamad project became more serious for me after that, when in 2008 I made two singles “Childish Dream” and “A Night” along with two very simple videos.
In this same year, I released the first album of Basaamad under the name of “The Growth” (Rooyesh), as well as the music video of Saaze Shekasteh. In 2012, I made the second album of Basaamad band called “Hesse Parvaz” with the cooperation of my good friend Nima Najm.
A few years later, I immigrated to Canada, which made me unable to have enough time to produce music, but in the meantime, I made a lot of songs that I plan to release the third album this year (2023).
My good friends Pedram Naadali, Dariush Sahpour and Nima Najm collaborated with me in the production of the first and second albums.
