Nedeljko Nick Mares (also known as DJ Nick, Bass Up!, and part of Basskickerz) has been producing electronic music for several years, both independently and through commissioned projects for top DJs across Austria and Germany. His journey began in 2004, collaborating in the studio with Sascha Schuch (DJ DeeCt / Sebastian Spencer). Sharing a common musical vision, the duo quickly launched their joint project, Bass Up!, the same year.
What started as a creative collaboration for fun soon led to high-energy remixes for well-known DJs, gaining recognition across the scene. Over the years, their work has been featured on respected labels such as Mental Madness, Tokabeatz (Fanatic), Andorfine Records, Universal Austria, Alphabet City, 3H Records Germany, Subzero Records, ARC Records, Universal Music, Tunnel Records, Klangwerk, Maximum Music, Coma Music, DJ Exclusive, MaNe Records, and Dirty Trackz.
Today, Nick continues the Bass Up! project as a solo producer and is an official member of the RG Music Records label.
