Bathead

Bathead is a cinematic music project with horror, B-movie and comic influences and was launched by Vadim H. in October 2014.

The original intention was to create an electronic music project of his own Batman spleen in a trashy way. Later, the project increasingly detached itself from its comic / Batman image and focused more on the horror genre. As a result, a Batman mask became a vampire bat skull mask. The project itself is located in the Munich metropolitan area and is based on the idea of combining the styles of Psychobilly, Horrorpunk, Dark Wave & EBM.

Acoustic and stylistic influences can be found especially among artists such as Pouppée Fabrikk, Cat Rapes Dog, Skinny Puppy, Vomito Negro, Project Pitchfork, Santa Hates You, Placebo Effect, Rob Zombie, Wednesday 13 and BZfoS. The debut album "Blood, Sweat & Hate" was released on August 15, 2015. Shortly thereafter, Ralf P. joined as an E-drummer and live support for subsequent events. Unfortunately, Ralf P. had to leave the band in autumn 2018 for personal reasons. Since November 2018 the already at G.O.L.E.M. active Chrissy V. was hired as an interim E-drummerette for Bathead. Since Chrissy V. had to leave the band in October 2019 due to time constraints, it became a single-person line-up. Bathead signed a record deal for upcoming releases with the independent label Sick Taste Records.
