Listening to BATT3RY AC1D will make a sane person feel crazy and a crazy person feel sane. Camelia fill is a California based project named BATT3RYAC1D. Her lyrics and work reflect her life struggles with grief, abuse and addiction, but also dance in the ecstatic joys of being alive, falling in love and feeling the sun on your skin. Without darkness, there can be no light. She started making music and recording it on her phone, but eventually her dark lyrics and dissonant melodies caught the attention of producer, Will Thomas and they began working together. Keep your eyes peeled for Camelia’s first professionally recorded full length album. Where the silence dies, is a contemplation of death, silence, beauty and the obscene. Sometimes, things are so horrifying and beautiful that they take your breath away and you don’t remember to take it back. This is the way god learned to kill.
