Bay Turner

After gaining national recognition on the 2022 season of Americas Got Talent, American singer/songwriter Bay Turner was able to parlay his success into a recording career as a Christian artist. The Texas-bred musician's compelling version of Calum Scotts "Biblical" became a hit garnishing 10,000,000+ views across social media platforms.

Born and brought up in the city of Houston, Texas, Turner was originally a church-choir singer, too shy to perform solo. It wasn’t until being encouraged by his Dad to take center stage in his teens that Turner even considered a career in music. After years of singing in church, Turner went on to pursue a degree in Opera Performance in both his undergrad and post-graduate studies. Turner performed operatic music all across North America and Europe for several years. However, he wasn’t quite satisfied and had a deep knowing that there was more.

It wasn’t until 2019 when Turner performed for the judges on BET’s “Sunday Best” that he even recognized the potential for a career in Christian/Gospel music. He was encouraged by Kirk Franklin to quit operatic singing and focus solely on making music for The Lord and that’s just what he did. After several years writing songs and recording demos, Turner released his first single ‘Brand New’ in the summer of 2024 with his label home Centricity Music.

Turner now resides in Nashville, TN, where he writes, records and regularly performs music more closely aligned with his calling, heart and purpose.
