BAYKER is a New Zealand born, DJ and Producer. Arriving in Berlin six years ago, BAYKER found a second home in the underground electronic music scene, producing melodic techno.
As long as BAYKER can remember, music and sound has been an intrinsic part of who he is. Discovering his ability to experience and manipulate sound, BAYKER became inspired by the opportunity to guide people on a journey into the present moment, with the energetic sum of eclectic sounds, waves of subtle intensity and his ever evolving journey of tension and release.
Shortly after his arrival, BAYKER collaborated with Berlin based electronic group ‘GHEIST’ on the track ‘Salvation‘. The track received great attention, reaching #14 on the Beatport charts, and remaining in the Top 100 for some time. BAYKER would later collaborate again on his next E.P release ‘Howl’ signed to RADAU. ‘Howl’ was a global success charting : #20 on the Beatport Top 100 Melodic House & Techno and #3 & 4 on the Beatport Hype Top 100 Melodic House & Techno
After a long year, BAYKER is unleashing his forthcoming release 'Journey 001'. An experience created during the global pandemic, comprising of 10 tracks. The first release titled ‘Home’ entails his signature energy of tension and release, finding ‘Home in the Journey itself.
