Since childhood H.H. Bhakti Bhringa Govinda Swami has been immersed in the world of music. Elvis Presley would call Sean "younger brother" as he often visited their house and maintained a friendship with Sean's father, Bob Neal, Elvis's first producer. In addition to Elvis, their home was frequented by many well-known musicians of the era including Roy Orbison, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, and Carl Perkins. His father's festival projects, the radio station, and frequent concerts made a major impact on Sean's path in life.
Govinda Swami has stated in different interviews that he always tries to combine modern sounds with the music of the soul. Kirtan fosters a universal connection. Govinda Swami and his band can be seen in crowded concert halls all over the world, including famous open-air events such as Woodstock in Poland, and at symphony concerts with philharmonic orchestras in Russia, South Africa, Ukraine. Currently, Govinda Swami maintains a busy schedule traveling around the world conducting concerts, lectures, charity events, and helping people to discover the beauty of the heart.
