BDub is a composer, songwriter, producer, audio engineer, educator, and researcher exploring music, storytelling, technology, and human creativity.
His A Balladeer Muses project—a seven-volume body of work and growing—investigates generative AI as an instrument of human-directed creation. The lyrics, melodies, concepts, stories, structures, emotional direction, and final creative decisions originate with the producer; AI is used to generate and explore performance and production possibilities.
Variation is part of the art. The same creative material may be reimagined across genres, arrangements, cultures, and emotional perspectives—not as alternate versions for novelty, but as an exploration of how production can change the meaning and experience of a song.
The result is a growing catalog of musical journeys designed to let listeners discover their own stories within the work.
AI generates possibilities. Human vision decides what becomes art.
