Be Run Over is an alternative band from Aizawl, Mizoram, India. With influences from the sub genre 'midwest emo', Be Run Over or BRO is a band that plays with melodious, bright guitar sounds fused with old-school punkish grooves.
The band was formed in February of 2023 by Corey, Chhanhima and Tpa. Being all seasoned musicians, the inspiration to form the band started with Corey, when he decided to call up some of his friends in the music scene who were often underappreciated and overlooked. And from then on, the gang formed what is now, Be Run Over.
With a few line-up changes, present members include Corey on vocals, Chhanhima on guitars, Puia on guitars and Tluangpuia on drums.
The band's major highlights include headlining EMO NITE V, performing on LDOE Punk Revolution in Kohima and various festivals and shows such as Leitlangpui Festival, Kan Chapchar Kut, Chhemdam, SoSial 2023 and Punk101 hosted by bbyanimals.
