In 1995 the young skateboard kids and in particular best friends Perry and Smoli formed the Berlin-based Dj and Productionteam BEATHOAVENZ.
Within few years the two music nerds were known for their heavy beats and their legendary dj sets. Being at the forefront of the Berlin Hip Hop Scene, Perry and Smoli started producing for the whole German Hip Hop elite, such as Sido, Bushido, Peter Fox, Jan Delay, Marteria, Jasmin Shakeri, Xavier Naidoo, Kool Savas and many more.
Alongside their production career the Beathoavenz put also enough emphasis on their dj career. They played from little Berlin backyard parties to the most famous and renowned clubs in Europe.
Furthermore you could experience the Beathoavenz sound on highflyer events such as the Echo Award, the german “Emmy Award“, or on afterparties of big TV charity events. They also played on showcases of Gwen Stefani, Pink, Eminem and Jay-Z.
Besides that they composed the music for different fashion shows in Mailand, catwalk shows of certain designers or exposition shows like the Bread and Butter in Berlin.
In 2012 they won the most important German movie award “Deutscher Filmpreis” for the TV Show “Cover My Song” with Denyo of the Band “Beginner”. In the last years they did only Film Scores. In 2021 they formed a new music band with their partner in crime and longterm friend and songwriter, Jasmin Shakeri, called D.R.A.M.A.. In 2024, they will revive their passion for pure beat production through lo-fi music.
