Beatriz Rosário

Music has been part of Beatriz Rosario’s life since she was a child. Fado came to Beatriz through her grandpa’s CDs, but it was her grandmother Rosário who insisted that she sing. Considered one of the most notable young Fado artists, she has performed throughout Portugal, but – although we feel every word she sings – her musical influences pushed her in new directions. Her first EP, @Rosário , was released in 2022, with a sold-out concert to mark the launch at Capitólio. The lead single, Ficamos Por Aqui remained at the top spot on one of the main national radio charts for 7 weeks and has over 900,000 streams. Beatriz already has two tracks with over 1 million streams on digital platforms. Her talent has been recognized at major national festivals like MEO Marés Vivas, MEO Sudoeste, Sol da Caparica, Super Bock Super Rock, and Festival F, along with international appearances, including at the WOMEX Festival. She is set to release her debut full-length album, which promises to blend the tradition of Fado and contemporary genres such as Pop and Urban music, delivering a fresh and modern sound.
