Beats by Rudebwoay is a music producer from Trondheim, Norway, whose career has been built on raw, underground hip-hop grit. He first made waves in the mid-2000s as a member of the rap collective Sørsia Gerilja, whose debut album earned a cult following. From there, he quickly became a sought-after producer, collaborating with many of Norway’s most respected underground talents. This also resulted in two compilation albums, "Beats by Rudebwoay vol. 1, vol. 2", with guests such as Bad Spit, Side Brok, Klish and Folkefiender.
As a co-founder of the independent label Bølgemaskin, Rudebwoay helped shape the regional hip-hop landscape with releases from artists like Shitrich, Ben Baller, and Diddaboy. The label reached its peak between 2013-2015, with his own 2015 album Oxygen Mask standing out as a cornerstone of that era. The album featured contributions from artists like Kool G Rap, Snak the Ripper, Chief Kamachi, and Block McCloud.
Following a standout 2025 with producer singles featuring Ruste Juxx and Bad Spit, plus a major Sørsia Gerilja reunion complete with vinyl reissues, new merch, and three sold-out shows in Trondheim and Oslo, Rudebwoay enters 2026 with full momentum. New EPs and collaborations are already lined up!
