Born in the Dominican Republic, raised in New York City as a teenager, now based in Miami, BEATZ AKADEMY has a best-of-all-worlds creative pallet of Latin and Caribbean influences, as well as American hip hop, trap, pop, and soul/R&B music.
He’s widely considered a master of the ‘dembow’ genre.
He co-wrote and co-produced the critically acclaimed Farruko + Maestro single "Enamorado del Dinero”, the Prince Royce single "Dec 21", and the WOST single "Pa Tra".
He’s collaborated with an array of Latin artists including Mozart La Para, Angel Dior, Kiko el Crazy, Haraca Kiko, Braulio Fogon, and Felp 22 to name a few.
He was commissioned by Marvel to cover Post Malone x Swae Lee’s “Sunflower” for The Sunflower Covers (From and Inspired by the Motion Picture “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse”). Xbox has been using his song “Entrega” to soundtrack multiple commercials featuring Tik Tok stars Younes Zarou, Henrik Cox, Oumi Janta, and Johannes Ridder.
