I am a hip-hop music producer, foley designer, and music production lecturer with extensive experience in the Sri Lankan music and entertainment industry. Over the years, I have collaborated with some of the most prominent artists in Sri Lanka, contributing to the growth and innovation of the local hip-hop scene.
I have worked as a music producer for the Drill Team, one of the most influential hip-hop collectives in the region. During this time, I produced and contributed to several successful albums and solo projects, including:
• Nara Sandeshaya
• Ayeth Gedarata
• Kataka
The Kataka album was a landmark project in my career. Within this album, the track “Aruma” achieved global recognition and won multiple awards worldwide, bringing Sri Lankan hip-hop to the international stage. Additionally, I was responsible for sound design and playback engineering for the major live event “Kataka Live in Concert”, ensuring an exceptional audio experience for thousands of attendees.
My career demonstrates a strong commitment to innovation in music production, sound design, and education. I have played a significant role in elevating Sri Lankan hip-hop and sound engineering to international standards and continue to push creative boundaries in every project I undertake.
