Beejay is a multi-instrumentalist who writes, produces, and plays all of his own music. No samples, no loops, just pure, real funk, rock, and whatever else he feels like playing.
Beejay started playing music in concert band around the age of 11. He started as a classically trained percussionist and jazz drummer. During his teenage years, Beejay picked up a guitar and couldn't put it down. In college, he added bass guitar to his repertoire when the bassist in a friend's band unexpectedly quit. Beejay spent most of his 20s playing and recording music in some way or another, in everything from country bar bands to metal bands to worship music.
Beejay's true passion is for church music. He currently co-owns a recording studio in Media, Pennsylvania in the hopes of giving a voice to new songwriters and musicians in the church. You can contact him via email at beejay@playfireside.com.
