Before Breathing

Before Breathing is a band from Rancagua, Chile, founded in 2017. Their sound is characterized by a melodic fusion of Death Metal, Metalcore, Deathcore, and touches of Black Metal, shaping an intense, dark, and technical identity. The band has released two studio EPs: Born Into the Chaos (2018) and Eternal Shadow of Existence (2021), and is about to release their new single Atlas Shrugged (2023), marking a new stage of technical evolution. Despite their short career, Before Breathing has achieved significant milestones, touring the United States in 2019 with shows in New York, Virginia, Pittsburgh, and New Jersey, and in 2023 expanding into Mexico alongside Sings of the Swarm, performing in Guadalajara, Monterrey, and Mexico City. They have also collaborated internationally through featurings with musicians from bands such as @bleed From Within (Scotland) and As Blood Runs Black (USA). The band has supported major international acts including Jinjer (Chile, 2022), Carnifex & Krisiun (Chile, 2023), Thy Art Is Murder (Chile, 2024), and Slaughter to Prevail (Chile, 2025). With a steady growth and relentless energy, Before Breathing stands as one of the most solid emerging extreme metal bands in Latin America, taking their brutal and melodic sound to international stages.
