"Before Eye Fall" released their debut Album (Eyes of the Mourning) As an Independent Artist well known in the Southeast as "Mirage" on Halloween of 2002… Appeared with many national acts as Mirage. Anthrax, Superjoint Ritual, Saliva, Drowning Pool, Cinderella, Jackal, Nonpoint & many more. Built a respectable following & were tapped by several Major Record Labels. Despite the fact music was flying around everywhere for free the band was able to sell over 10,000 hard copies in the grind with no way to measure how many mp3s were shared at the time to boot.
This proved to be possibly the worst timing in American history! To be in a band recognized & playing at this specific level, sought after by multiple labels. At the top of their Game only to find out it was impossible even for the most wanted bands to have reasonable Negitiations with ANY of the labels. The Music Piracy wars & the peak of Napster & file sharing saw to it that any bands on the rise at this time had to work like bands chasing the dream never before them. Bands who persevered between 2002 & 2005 were the real deal, genuine Slaves to the Grind.
The band has slowed it down to casual play only for many years now. In 2017 the band decided to change the name because of copyright issues & begin working on another album. With a more directed approach towards keeping it "fun" rather than "serious business" goin forward. The band has much more to share Before They Fall.
