One of the exponents of the early-'80s paisley underground in Los Angeles was a band called the Salvation Army, led by guitarist Louis Gutierrez and bassist Michael Querico. They issued a self-titled album on Frontier Records in 1982, before the real Salvation Army objected to their use of its name and they became the Three O'Clock. Frontier reissued their debut album in 1985 under the name Befour Three O'Clock. ~ William Ruhlmann, Rovi
