Oluwagbemiga Olajide, musically known as Beget Music, is a talented Nigerian-born singer-songwriter and guitarist from the vibrant city of Lagos, with roots in Ilora, Oyo State. He grew up in a family with deep ties to music and took to music at an early age, singing in his church's juvenile choir, where he sings regularly, especially on Sundays. Music has long been an intrinsic part of his life.
At age 16, Beget embraced his musical calling, channeling his creativity into writing original songs that resonates with his experiences, faith and emotions.
When he’s not singing or playing his guitar, he leads a team of creatives and organizes music workshops at The Beget Music Community, with over 2,000 trained and equipped attendees around the world. Music is an essential part of his identity, and he’s on a journey to share his unique sound with the world.
One of his recent projects, The Songwriter’s Guide, offers structured support for singers, songwriters, musicians and choirs. It helps address specific challenges faced by songwriters, providing personalized solutions and tools to improve their songwriting skills.
His latest release “So Glad I Found You” is a heartfelt tribute to celebrate the beauty of true love. Inspired by his real-life love story, this song celebrates the beauty of finding someone who brings favour, peace, joy, love, and light into your life ✨.
