Bellah

Bellah is a singer/songwriter from Albuquerque, NM, where she performed locally since 2016. As a student at the University of Arizona, Bellah continued her journey as a musician by writing and recording songs in 2018-2019.

Bellah released an EP "Four" containing four songs relating to experiences that shaped her freshmen year of college. The first three songs of the track are songs of heartbreak and past mistakes, but the last song is a final recognition that "Maybe I'm the one for me."

Her debut single "Silently Dreaming" was co-written with her twin brother over FaceTime, as they attended college states away. "Silently Dreaming" is a piano ballad reminiscing on a previous relationship. The song begins with memories of this relationship, and extends into a nostalgic chorus. Throughout the chorus, the lyrics say "I'm dreaming of you" but at the last chorus, the role is reversed saying, "You're dreaming of me" to show the reciprocity in the ending of this relationship.

Although Bellah has not released any new music since the Fall of 2019, she is hopeful for a future filled with singing every day and is just waiting for the right songwriting inspiration to strike.
