Belzar

Growing up surrounded by crime in South Central L.A, his family eventually moved to what is now his hometown of Montclair, California. While his mother worked in L.A, the long commutes acted as the journeys that initiated Belzar into a lifelong obsession with sound.

Creating his own beats since 2006, Belzar's captivating strain of Hip-Hop touches upon themes of love, goals, dreams and the struggles that come from existing as a human being in modern society. Due to his own mental health struggles earlier in life, he uses music as a way to cope and hopes that his thought-provoking lyricism and enchanting productions can act as a relief of stress and anxiety for others.

A staple of the Inland Empire, California Hip-Hop scene, Belzar has opened the stage for the likes of Damian Marley, Iration, Murs (Living Legends), and many others. Additionally, he has toured regionally across Southern California for The Backyard Tour (2015), and also performed at the Dry Diggings Music Festival in Grass Valley California (2022). He has collaborated with producers such as Dopeboyzmusic (responsible for the sample in Eminem’s track ‘Killshot') as well as Tone Jonez (Grammy winning Producer).

When not producing music or touring, Belzar can be found trucking and practicing naturism.
