New York born, New Jersey raised Korean-American artist known for pushing the boundaries "ambient" music as an approach to genre play and experimentation. Raised on classical music studied as a violinist since age 6, paralleled with playing in hardcore and punk bands in Jersey and Upstate New York. His approach to making music and DJ'ing smashes the formal with the informal, the serenity with the debauchery into something soulful and emotionally evocative.
After finding the beauty in communal movement and DIY in the hardcore and noise scene, moving to Brooklyn in 2013 discovering warehouse parties, and hardware techno sets, Ben sought out to build stranger, lusher, more complex worlds — tied together with a bow of melody and comfort.
Throughout his work he's collaborated with artists like Pontiac Streator, Ulla, Shiner, Special Guest DJ, Naemi, Mister Water Wet, Huerco S., Ultrafog, Jetty, Priori, Opheliaxz, Kissen, James K, & many more.
