Ben Lee is an Australian singer/songwriter/producer who began releasing music in 1992 as a 14 year old indie rocker, after being discovered by alternative tastemakers, the Beastie Boys and Sonic Youth.

This began a journey of innovation, collaboration and fun that sets Lee’s multi-decade career apart from his peers. From his seminal collaboration with Ben Folds and Ben Kweller (the Bens), to a psychedelic children’s musical written with legendary American author
Tom Robbins (“B is for Beer: The Musical”), Lee describes his career as “sometimes confusing, but never dull”.

In addition, Ben’s songs have been heard in everything from the comedy classic “There’s Something About Mary” and the very first episode of “Grey’s Anatomy”, to DELL and Coke commericals, even winning a Cannes Gold Lion for the use of “Song for the Divine Mother of the Universe” in a short film collaboration with the World Wildlife Federation.

Lee’s music has won multiple ARIA awards (Australian Grammys) as well as mega hits on radio in Australia, Spain, the Netherlands and Japan.

In recent years, Lee has been running the Creative Production Company WEIRDER TOGETHER with his wife, actress Ione Skye, producing podcasts, releasing music and live hosting events.

Ben can currently be found on the road in Australia, playing sold out shows to generations of fans who connect deeply to his music.
