Ben Lester crafts a distinctive brand of chamber-pop, with a melodious complexity informed by idol Brian Wilson. Ben generated a fearsome buzz from an early age, demonstrating the prodigious ability to perform and produce every note of his material. A BBC Introducing featured artist at 19, he was lauded as a "hugely talented singer-songwriter" who "creates his own unique moods" and declared one of the hottest new British artists of 2018. Following regular airplay of his early self-released recordings, Ben signed to Mayfield Records, releasing his self-titled debut album in 2020 to widespread acclaim.
