The first 4 Ben Reel albums were released under the Ben Reel Band name from 1999-2007. The band consists of the very best musicians in Ireland and continue to play with Ben to this day. Different musicians have played in the band over the years but the A team is Michael Black on drums, Ronnie O'Flynn on bass, Mick McCarney & Gerry Black jnr on guitars, John McCullogh on piano/organ & Julieanne Reel on backing vocals. A further 4 studio albums have been released to date with a 9th album coming out early 2020 that was recorded in Nashville with Will Kimbrough producing and E street band member Garry Tallent on bass.
