Ben Staunton

Ben Staunton started writing songs at the tender age of 12, sitting on the end of his bed, with his battered second hand acoustic guitar.
A native of Castlebar, Co. Mayo, he found solace in music as it allowed him to explore all his emotions and write about the stories that filled his head. He has been writing songs and playing music ever since.
His challenging childhood helped mould and shape his creative and passionate song writing style which weaves the beauty of storytelling with catchy upbeat rhythms and strong choruses creating songs that everyone can relate to and you can’t help but sing along with!
Ben wears his influences on his sleeve and growing up in the nineties you can be assured that his songs have all the hallmarks of the bands of that era but glued to the modern day sounds.
