My name is Aaron. I was born and raised in southern Missouri in a very conservative home; a very different type of environment than most of the world around me. Although it caused some pain and confusion, I am still very thankful for that time in my life because of all that it taught me. I always felt somewhat misunderstood and out of place- no matter where I was- but most would never know it.
Music became my escape.
I used to lay under my bed huddled up next to my radio for hours.
One year for my birthday, my parents bought me a guitar and it changed my life . Suddenly, crazy cool things were possible. I had an outlet for my creativity that I desperately needed. I was entirely unaware that ADHD pulled at my focus nearly every moment, and music seemed to be the only thing to hone it in.
I couldn't get enough! Listening, playing, singing, writing... dreaming.
Music remained my relief.
I feel like I waited to vocalize my vulnerability for too long- but it's never too late to do what you might have done!
Huge thanks to my childhood friends, those I've made along the way, and the ones I'll meet soon enough!
PS -
I am very happily taken by the love of my life, Kristi, for all of you who desire a piece of this sweet nectar. She has pushed me to always be my whole self, supported all my crazy whims, listened to track after track for me, and cheers for me louder than any other human on this planet. Soul mates, baby.
