Considering their solo projects or their collaborative career, guitarists <a href="spotify:artist:0gySA5DGCwnB9d3QmnsSRi">Fred Benedetti</a> and George Svoboda have impressive résumés. As a new age guitar duo, Benedetti & Svoboda have played together for over a decade and have released four albums, two of which (Scirocco Desert Wind and Zephyr) blend pan-global musical influences, and another pair (Flamenco Dreams and Spanish Gardens) explore new flamenco styles. The duo also composed and played music for a new production of Shakespeare's Much Ado About Nothing, performed at San Diego's Old Globe.

The Czechoslovakian-born Svoboda taught music and guitar theory in his homeland's Public Schools of Art; in the U.S., he has taught guitar at Mesa College and Grossmont College.
