Benja G

Of all the artists who have come out lately, no one looks or sounds like Benja G.
Benja G is a artist, rapper, producer, music video director and poet originally from Maipú in the city of Santiago, Chile.
His first approaches to music began in 2018, when a student discovered how to express his feelings through harmonies. This is how his first project called “Pensando En Tus Ojos” was born, where it was created entirely in GarageBand and FL Studio Trial Version. “Pensando En Tus Ojos” was uploaded to platforms such as SoundCloud and YouTube around that time, receiving attention from underground listeners.
After suffering from severe depression for several years, he returns in 2023 with new ideas on the music scene, giving fresh cuts and experimenting in broad musical genres. In this way “mika” was born. or also called “Proyecto Gato (#)”. It all begins where Benja G's cousin, José Pacheco, listens to some of his cousin's songs and discovers the potential he has. With his friend Cristóbal Moraga, they come together to create music, form songs and strengthen ties that would be decisive in forming their own label, Castolo Records.
The way in which Benja G approaches the musical genre is by trying to sound linked to psychedelic and experimental touches.
