At only 16 years old, Benjamin Blanc is a singer/songwriter and visualist based in New York City. He began playing piano at the age of three, and his passion for music grew even stronger after watching Katy Perry’s unforgettable Super Bowl performance. Inspired by that moment, Benjamin started writing his own songs at 11, crafting his first masterpiece, “Ever After.”
A trained dancer at the School of American Ballet for seven years, fluent in three languages (English, French, and Japanese), Benjamin can play four different instruments and blend a rich background in performance with diverse cultural influences. He has even performed at Carnegie Hall, and received acceptance into the LaGuardia School of Arts.
His debut single, “Fate,” released on July 25th, 2025, is a compelling 12-minute track featuring solo production and genre-defying concepts. Deeply influenced by artists like Lana Del Rey, Jeff Buckley, Lorde, and Amy Whinehouse, Benjamin’s music is known for its poetic lyricism, cinematic visuals, and raw emotion, way beyond mature for his young age.
As his discography grows, he looks forward to sharing more self-written works, including “Killa,” “White Tea,” “The Vineyard,” “Dear God,” and “Jump!” a Japanese-blending city-pop song and homage to Blanc’s Japanese identity. In creating his music, Benjamin paves the way to carve out his unique and versatile space in the music world.
