Singer/songwriter Benjamin James was born in 1990 in Trondheim, Norway and moved to the suburbs of Oslo in Norway at the age of 7. Benjamin grew up in an English family where music played a big part in his early life and would eventually inspire him to pursue a career as a musician along with his older brother who performs as an electronic artist under the pseudonym <a href="spotify:artist:36nsRvk897JMHH9xbyOMTX" data-name="Captain Credible">Captain Credible</a>.
Influenced by the likes of <a href="spotify:artist:7omzannyG2lfDqP5xyZo34" data-name="Joshua Radin">Joshua Radin</a> and <a href="spotify:artist:74gcBzlQza1bSfob90yRhR" data-name="City and Colour">City and Colour</a> Benjamin has been been writing music since his adolescent years, and in 2014
he went to Napier University in Edinburgh to study and refine his talent.
After a short period of studies, his struggles with depression and anxiety meant he had to come back home to Norway, but he didn't stop writing and evolving his skills.
In 2017 he was ready to take the leap as a solo artist, and started to work with Vakuum Studio to create his first single.

Benjamin is currently working with his next release.
