Benjamin Marshall is a Michigan born, Ohio-raised folk, pop singer-songwriter who has grown to be an active part of the Ohio music over the last few years. With his eyes on music since the tender age of three, his music career took a more serious role after moving back to Columbus from Nashville, Tennessee in 2011, where he had spent time studying and pursuing recording arts. It was his return to Columbus that revealed his passion for songwriting, performing and most importantly, community. Without people, the music would be nothing but wasted sounds.
He has released two albums over the last two years, his most recent one being "The Bear Minimum", a self-proclaimed "scrapbook of melodies", released this past January of 2019. With over 70 performances in 2018 while keeping his "day job", he most recently accomplished his first DIY coffee shop tour this past August...setting sail from Columbus, OH... all the way to Austin, TX.
