Benny Zenn is a musician, beatmaker and producer from Sydney, Australia. Firmly rooted in hip-hop, Benny has taken influence from jazz, soul and funk records to create his modernized and clean reprise of 90’s Hip Hop. Equipped with an array of synths, rhodes and bass, he melds live instrumentation and twists sample waveforms to create deeply textured tracks with neck-snapping drum grooves.
As time has passed, and his records have continued to amount, Benny has cemented himself at the forefront of the collaborative producer lane in Australia due to his unremitting work rate and meticulous ear. His roots are firmly planted in 90's, but his sound declares its own, timeless claim, as a result of his influences living abroad and producing for 6 years in London. Over that period, Benny’s expertise grew exponentially as he experimented with Garage, House and DnB.
In 2024, Benny has gone about displaying his musical versatility by dropping a string of singles with multiple domestic and international artists. The first run of singles led to the release of his 4th production album ‘BY THE SLICE’ in April 2024. The record featured international artists such as Verb T, Tab-One, Gee Bag and Australian Thundamentals' member, Jeswon. With the year still going and 2025 approach, Benny is set to go another single run with his 5th production album on the way.
