Bensbeendead.’s style can be described as a dreamy blend of electronic pop and alt R&B laden with airy synths and bubbly percussion. He seeks to comfort the disturbed by producing sonic landscapes that create an escape from daily life and inspire creativity. Putting thoughts into words provides a welcome respite from his anxiety around finding his personal identity and importance in the world at large. In today’s turbulent climate, this is also his main hope for his audience. His haunting vocals paired with deeply thematic storytelling make his music a delicious offering to the youth.
In 2019, Ben released a few singles that culminated in a partnership with the independent record label OFF CENTER. Ben released his debut EP ‘GARDENING’ in the fall of 2020. The project was met with rave reviews and landed editorial placements on Chill Vibes, Chill Pop, and Fresh Finds. In December 2021, Ben dropped a second EP titled ‘LOVELY CREATURES’ through Alt:Vision Records. In March 2023, rising alt-pop star Caye invited Ben on the road with him for the East Coast leg of his National tour. In August 2023, Ben released his first full-length LP "Sail Eden." The project has garnered an overwhelmingly positive response and so far has landed an editorial placement on late night vibes. Ben released his latest EP ‘HARDER THAN IT LOOKS’ on April 25th, 2025.
