Bensen is a San Diego based singer and songwriter. Born in NYC and raised in New Jersey, he began writing songs in his teens. He got his start playing the famed Stone Pony in Asbury Park, NJ and eventually signed with Linc Star Records. He toured the country with several prominent bands and artists. 
A few years back, he moved from
New Jersey to San Diego. After a hyatus from music, Bensen began writing “The West”, an album that chronicles this story and was written as a nostalgic reflection on the past as well as an optimistic glimpse into the future.
