Writing under his bestowed nickname Benwah, Bennett Papier is a house music producer and DJ hailing from New Jersey, USA. At an early age, Papier grew fond of the stranger and more experimental realms of dance music from the likes of <a href="spotify:artist:6nxWCVXbOlEVRexSbLsTer" data-name="Flume">Flume</a>, <a href="spotify:artist:6kBDZFXuLrZgHnvmPu9NsG" data-name="Aphex Twin">Aphex Twin</a>, and others. Eventually becoming obsessed with the worlds of UK Garage, house and bass, and 2-step, Benwah's style developed into an experimental twist on house music - creating clean club tracks with weird and unique nuances, suitable for a packed dance floor or a chill evening alone. Branching the gap between club music and listening music is characteristic of Benwah's sound and style; industry heavyweight <a href="spotify:artist:5ttgIeUVka6FLyi00Uu5h8" data-name="Jauz">Jauz</a> described the young producer - "When I'm listening to electronic music for fun ... this is the kind of stuff that I listen to ... super vibey, fun, not conventional ...
