After his succesfull solo album 'Transit', Bert Dockx (Dans Dans, Flying Horseman, Ottla & Strand) released a second album under his own name entitled 'Safe'. And if 'Safe' was the sound of the deep dark night, then it's follow-up album 'Ghosts' is the sound of shimmering twilight; of a search for love and connection in a stumbling and struggling, but beautiful world.
For this new album, Bert Dockx relies on a fresh, exciting band, featuring Loesje and Martha Maieu (Flying Horseman, Blackie & The Oohoos), Louis Evrard (Ottla) and Maximilian Dobbertin. Together they form 'Bert Dockx Band'. The result is a rich and rewarding musical voyage that sits somewhere between the sparseness of Dockx's previous solo records, the kaleidoscopic artrock of Flying Horseman and the brooding instrumental sounds of Dans Dans.
