Bert Pleng's debut track , Dopamine', was signed to Perspectives Digital after it came to the attention of Darin Epsilon during a Beatport demo drop at the Berlin Dance Music Event. After road testing it at Kastel club in Istanbul, Darin included 'Dopamine' on his 'Perspectives Around The World Vol.7' VA, alongside releases from Ethan Heich, Ira Ange, Jack Willard, Rafa Silva, Ria Mehta and Serge Bosin.

Due to organic momentum and encouraging DJ feedback (including foundational support from Deepesh Sharma), 'Dopamine' performed well on Beatport's Melodic House & Techno Hype chart and Spotify playlist. Online support was also solid, including a Raven Musik premiere and independent play-listing from ELEVIN, Techno Sector, OZZY XPM, Ibiza House, and others.

'Dopamine' began 2024 with renewed energy after appearing on the 'Perspectives Best of 2023' album alongside other key releases from the label's more established artists.

Bert's signature sound is definitely a work in progress as he takes his time to learn the complex craft of music production. His journey is greatly helped by his good friend and mentor, Da Fresh; who brings decades of valuable experience and helps elevate Bert's tracks to the next level.

Bert is drawn to melancholic, uplifting sounds that create deep emotional connections with the dance floor and he is currently working on new material destined for release in 2025.
