A Canadian hard rock and heavy metal band, Betrayer -- founded by Jeff Klingbeil (vocals, guitar) and Shawn Bastien (drums, percussion) with William Lozon (guitars) and Norm Michaud (bass) -- honed their chops early on by hitting the live circuit, eventually landing a deal and releasing an EP, Shadowed Force, and a full-length, Rusted Icons. Their single "Headed for Disaster" was featured as part of a compilation included with the Canadian metal magazine, Brave Words and Bloody Knuckles.
