Born in Berlin in 1993, BETÜL Akmar is a Turkish-German singer, musician, and songwriter who discovered her passion for music at an early age. At just six years old, she began singing and playing guitar, making her TV debut on the Turkish national broadcaster TRT.
BETÜL has performed at numerous festivals, concerts, and TV shows in both Germany and Turkey. She was a core member of the girl band Last Sound, which gained attention through appearances on the popular Turkish talent show Yetenek Sizsiniz Türkiye.
Her music resonates not only in her native Turkish and German but also in English. In 2023, BETÜL participated in the German national selection for the Eurovision Song Contest with her English song "HEAVEN."
In 2024, she released "Ay Yıldız Altında", an anthem supporting the Turkish National Football Team on their EURO 2024 journey.
BETÜL continues to enchant her audience with her unique voice and music, building cultural bridges and leaving an impact on listeners around the world.
